Well, if (European/North-American) people of the forum get to know that you're a Russian from Russia they most naturally presume that you vomit every time when you see a homosexual, you have a tattoo of Putin on your chest etc. etc.
Oh, that sounds a little bit too dramatic...Oh I see. I asked because I haven't really seen much prejudice regarding russians here...but you've been here way longer than me.

Perhaps not so much overt Eurocentrism, but I'd say that lots of TL writers fail to appreciate the different value standards that people had in the past or in other countries. For all the talk about chivalry and honor and noblesse oblige being romanticized notions that never actually existed, leaving it out altogether from a story just to make it 'realistic' does not actually make a story realistic. People cared about these things even if they often failed to hold themselves to these standards.
