Wouldn't Nov 9 represent how democracy finally beat communism?

It is also the date of the Proclamation of the German Republic in 1918, the Hitler COup in 1923 and the Reichskristallnacht in 1938, so at least in Germany things are a bit complicated....

A "Civil Rights Day" could be possible, idk what day that'd be.

This is pretty much what Martin Luther King day is in OTL. Of course, if King lives, perhaps another day would be chosen.

Rather than a single President's day, have one for every president.

That means we'd have 43 different holidays celebrating a president's birthday (we would have 44, except that James Polk and Warren Harding have the same birthday, November 2).

one that i'm considering for a project of my own is Cabot Day, literally just a replacement for Columbus Day internally and externally. the reasoning here is because the US has a much more strained relationship with Spain so they decide to honor the British-employed explorer instead of the Spanish one (yes, both are Italian, but w/e :p)

42. Not 43. Cleveland is counted twice but I imagine has but one birthday. Conversely, George Washington can be said to have two birthdays...

Have the massive Christmas secular festival of OTL NOT happen on Christmas, but on St. Nicholas's Day, where it really belongs. Santa Claus on December 24/5 could be called ASB be other timelines where that development didn't happen.

September 13 could be Constitution Day; it was the day the Articles of Confederation were replaced by the modern Constitution.
