Western European contribution after Liberation?

In 1943/1944, a large portion of Italy, France, Belgium and Holland was liberated by the Allies, how, then, did they contribute to the Allied war war effort in terms of men and matériel ?

Not sure about Belgium, Italy and Holland, but I believe that many member of the French Resistance and French volunteers were deployed as replacements for the African soldiers in the French First Army during the fighting at the Vosges mountain under the Sixth Army Group. This was called the whitening of the French Army.

In addition, I suppose that the use of French, Belgian, Dutch and Italian railroads would count as contribution to the Allied cause.
