Flag of The Republic of Arelat
Here the Kingdom of Arles/Arelat reforms under a Free-County and Savoy-Dauphinee merger which absorbs a non-capetian Duchy of Burgundy hence the lack of fleurdelis.
The central emblem is a kind of cross that developed in the area ATL akin the the Burgundian Cross or Lorrainian Cross OTL.

A plain burgundy cross looked too simple, so I added a blue border.

Not very original, but I don't know why it is so hard to come up with a modern looking burgundian flag (also, I find the actual banner of arms really beautiful, I wouldn't like to replace it):D

Indeed. I was initially going to put a florry tressure on mine surrounding the central cross but proved too difficult and looked too much like Highlanders so I went for a non-capetian version :D

My entry

During the ATL French revolution, the Girodins dominated the national assembly and instituted a féderal system of several states, one of which was Burgundy. They also called for war with the european powers which ultimately led to defeat and the reinstitution of a monarchy. Nonetheless, several states refused to recognise King Louis XVIII and so declared themselves independant.

The flag of the République de Bourgogne is based on French républican flag. However red, white and blue became gold white and blue after indépendance due to the addition of the burgundian cross, so as not to clash with the red, and gold being a good burgundian replacement colour.

Tropicana Flag.
It was decided to retain the ensign. In place of the old green stripes a seven pointed star for each of the provinces was added. Each point was dimpled to stylise a Quetzal tail - the quetzal being symbolic for the region.

The Flag of Tropicana. The seven stripes have been retained from the previous British ensign, however the Union flag in the canton has been replaced. The stars are the seven brightest stars in the constellation of Cancer as the country is named after the Tropic of Cancer. The laurel wreath represents the peaceful union of the country's seven provinces.

Here be my humble contribution.

The Union Jack symbolises its status as a Commonwealth Realm. The blue field is for the blue waters of the Caribbean, Pacific, and Darien Canal. The ship symbolises its status as a centre of trade. The dragon symbolises the Aztec peoples, the major native tribe of the region when it was first conquered by the Europeans.

Dominion of Tropicana

The official flag of the Tropicana Dominion. Unveiled May 24th, 1961 on the Victoria Day national holiday, the flag was adopted to replace the colonial flag used for Tropicana since it was adopted under Lord Harrington in 1814.

The barbed diagonal is a reference to the Burgundian Cross, a nod to the still-Spanish character of Tropicana. The red and white also nods to the cross of St. George, and the English character of the land. The halves reference the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to the North-East and South-West. The central shield refers to the stalwart defense of the crown's vital interest of this trade connection during the American Expansionary War, the 2nd British-Spanish War, and The Great War. The stylized Sun disk has become the icon of the nation, much like the American star or the Canadian maple leaf.

The flag of Tropicana: The pale yellow represents the Atlantic sunrise and the pale red represents the Pacific sunset. The 7-pointed star represents the nation's 7 provinces and the Quetzal, Tropicana's national bird, represents the nation's people and their diverse heritage.

In order to be first and get the crappiness out the way ;)

Here's my Louisiana Empire flag based on the cajun capuchin - it's basically a large blue capuchin on a semy of black capuchins.

I might have gone a bit OTT with the frimbriations on this one!

The first flag raised by Louisianan separatists was simply the tricolour with the white stripe ripped out and the red and blue restitched together with the colours reversed. Later a single star and a cross were added, representing Louisiana's sovereignty and Christianity. Early versions of the flag with both a gold and a white star were common before the gold variant won out.

Empire of Louisiana

The Empire of Lousiana was proclaimed to be an ideal land, where the mistakes of La revolution would be corrected, and the glorious monarchy represented by the ancient fleur-de-lys is reconciled with the tenets of fraternite, libertie, solidarite shown by the red, the white, and the blue. Of note: the white dominates, showing the preminence liberty is given in La republic de roi de louisianne.

Beginning in 1948 with the abolition of the Olympic Games owing to the Berlin Airlift crisis and the new policy of Socialist Isolationism by the Soviet Union and its Eastern bloc allies, the Union Games are the world's premiere international sporting event (discussions continue concerning a merger with the rival International Fraternity Games).

The flag of the Union Games is conceptually descended from that of the Olympics. The five stars originally represented the five initial participating continents (Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America) and today officially mark Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The black, green and blue bands stand for space, land and the seas, the great frontiers of all mankind.

Flag of the Liberty Games

Introduced in 1953, the Liberty Games were originally a NATO-nations only event, held in contrast to the Soviet led 1st Communist International Games of 1952. The Liberty Games and ComIntern Games became useful PR tools for the American and Soviet leaders, and an un-acknowledged rivalry for both member nations and world records has pushed atheltic accomplishment to further and further heights of performance. There have been notable controversies and tragedies over the years, with much speculation on both sides of the others 'cheating' through the use of drugs, surgery, and other performance-enhancing efforts.

The Flag of the Liberty Games was designed by Clementine Churchill. the wife of the British Prime Minister. The emphasis of blue was in contrast to the ComIntern's predominately red flag. The stylized torch signifies the burning spirit of atheletic competition, and the laurel wreath is for victory.

Flag of the International Freedom Games Committee, founded in 1953 following the obvious politicisation of the 1952 Budapest Olympic Games by the Soviet-backed Hungarian communist government. The first Freedom Games were held in 1956 in San Francisco.

The flag features the 'Torch of Freedom' emblem on a white field, echoing the Olympic flag with the red, yellow, blue, green and black flames echoing the Olympic rings.
