I’ll give it until tomorrow if you have something you want to submit
Sorry, I was meant if voting was going to start.
Wasn't sure if you had extended the time.
Been to busy to create anything lately myself, but I still check in to see the submissions and to vote.
Looks like @BelfastBrawler won the last challenge - congratulations - looking forward to whatever you come up with for the next one!
@Demothenes - will you post the result in the the New Challenges & Previous Winners thread?
Redesigned Flag of South Africa
A variation on the flag which tries to show how the interweaving of the different peoples and histories lead forward (right) to the future of the nation.
Original flag for reference:
@BelfastBrawler As I'm the only entrant so far, will you extend the challenge or do a new one?
I'm seriously lacking inspiration recently or would have entered.
Okay, @BelfastBrawler looks like a new challenge is needed.
@BelfastBrawler can we expect a new challenge?
idk it seems there isn't any interest at all in challenge anyway
I feel @FriendlyGhost 's flag is already nigh-impossible to beat.
I've asked in the main flag thread about participation in these challenges to garner a bit more than we lately have.
If BelfastBrawler still decides against a new challenge then, according to the rules, one of the following "overseers" will suggest a new one:-
Director: Transparent Blue
Volunteers::OAM47, Rarayn,,The Professor
That's very kind of you to say - though you wouldn't think that if you'd seen some of my first draft ideas .
I look forward to whatever the next challenge is...no matter who posts it...
well you guys deal with it then, i have some stuff coming up anyways
@BelfastBrawler - RL has to take priority, obviously, but I hope you're able to join in with the challenges again, your flags are always good to see. Also, thanks for the last challenge, I enjoyed it, just a pity no-one else was able to take part.
It did seem a good challenge, I just couldn't think of anything to fit it properly.
Interesting idea. I'm currently without Internet at home, but once I'm back, I plan to do an update for our archives, and I'll chime in with more feedback on this suggestion.
Anyone wanna try to revive this ?
Flags challenges should have historically significant topics, while the flags themselves should be easy to make.
And... I suggest that if the deadline comes and there is only one entry, the sole contestant wins by default, giving us the chance to get into the next round.
