At OTL battle of Dresden the Austrian left wing was cut off from the main army by very swollen rivers and muddy ground - even the flintlocks were silenced due to the rain - and Austrian squarres were defenceless against French cavalry and artillery.
But what if - it is a dry summer that year - and the allied front at Dresden links nicely together?
For those with a keen interest in the Autumn Campaign of 1813 (like me) the question could be: how does the battle of Dresden develop?
For those with a more normal life, the question could be: What does an allied victory at Dresden do (not an anihilating victory, but giving the French a bloody nose and taking Dresden)?
