We need timelines on these chaps.........

The Western Satraps

So I was bored and started digging around Wikipedia for some interesting yet forgotten nations and stumbled upon these guys.

So basically they were Saka (Indo-Scythian) chieftains in Western India (Sindh, Gujurat, Malva etc.) that got united and put in their place by the Kushan Empire another foreign invader.

There aren't many things these guys seemed to have achieved other than giving the local populace peace for at least 200 years and reviving Shaivite schools in northern India.

What seems to strike me though is their ruling class. They were mostly Greco-Zoroastrian nobles (most likely Dahae and Parthian nobility fleeing the more hard-lined Zoroastrianism of the Sassanids) and a Hindu Shaivaite king.
From what I had learnt so far, Hinduism had died out for most of the part in most of the sub-continent (replaced by Buddhism) and had just started making a revival. The Sakas were from even the Amu Darya , even further up north.
