We need more Viking Timelines

I'm surprised that there's an utter lack of recent Viking Age/Scandinavian-centric timelines on this forum! The OTL Sagas both ancient and Medieval kick ass! I do not know who or when these premises will be picked up, but let's jot down some ideas, alrighty?

Well we do have our share of badass murderous Viking in OTL. Like Bjorn Ironside, Erik the Red, Erik the Red's daughter, Ragnar Lodbrok, Ivar the Boneless, Erik the Bloodaxe, Sweyn Forkbeard, Gardar Svavarsson, Rurik of Holmgardr, Haraldr Fairhair, Hrolfr aka Rollo of Normandy, and of course Egil Skallagrimsson...

Kingdom of the North?

Otherwise, part of the issue is likely that we have very little documentation from the Norse (Viking was the Norse occupational name for going out raiding and (maybe) trading on the same trip), which are writen down close to the actual time of it happening, much less writen down by Norse themselves.

Most of the documentation is of the form of "the fathers of my fathers heard that this guy was told that that guy did so-and-so", and is thus historically suscept, without ample archaeological knowledge. Both Saxo Grammaticus and the Icelandic Saga's suffer greatly from this.

Anglo-saxon annals had the unfortunate habit of getting burned doing a raze, or being writen by someone that heard something.
