Thanks, I don't really feel up to the task of removing the UK from NATO, though is it possible for it to remain but take different lines in foreign policy? I'm not entirely sure, but I feel that rocket-jet propulsion would probably prove to be a dead end, I wonder if the aircraft could then be upgraded with dual Spey turbo's, butterflying the lightning in the process.
A few confirms I can give; The, RAF, The FAA and the GAF will all field the '177' (It needs a name), the JASDF may put in an order for a few but I'm not sure. There will be a much closer collaboration with the West Germans over future products, I'm not positive but the Phantom may not get further than Japan ITTL. There will definitely be a successful HS 1121, also expect the TSR-2, CVA-01 and the Harrier to put in appearances. Though the latter might end up a wholesale FAA/USN project.
Please let me know what you think, I may be (Most likely) promising more than I can deliver but we'll see.
