Watchmen (HBO-TV) Series

I have yet to see this TV series, but like much of what I hear about it - one remains a little perplexed by Mr Alan Moore's decision to make Vietnam one of the United States (one would have thought US treatment of the Philippines made a more logical precedent for a conquered Vietnam than the State of Hawaii), but I'm glad to see that the show has been able to put that curious Status Quo to good use.

One also keeps being visited by the mental image of Mr Val Kilmer as the Dan Dreiberg this series deserves and I'm not sure how to feel about that!
Depending on how you feel about the series, apparently Lindelof has decided he doesn't want to do a "Season 2" of the Watchmen (HBO-TV). If anything, I think it actually makes sense, and is a testament to the quality of the series:
