Was a Union of British Churches possible?

I really dont think such a union would work. The Scots were very strongly against bishops, and the English church demanded them.

Yeah in the 1640s and 50s. By the time of the OTL Glorious revolution much of Scotland was Episcopal, that is accepting of Bishops, so realistically such a union was very much feasible. And we're not talking about OTL but rather my TL, Apollinis et Dianae.

Hey all sorry to bump this but I've recently had an idea for a name for the unified church for Apollinis et Dianae and wanted to get some feedback on it. How does the Church of Albion sound for the United church of England and Scotland? Albion is the oldest name for the island of Great Britain, so I thought that it would be a nice way to honor history while at the same time not reminding the Scots of all they've lost to the new Kingdom. So thoughts?

I think Britannia or Great Britain is the most likely. Remember the Church (even the Anglican) looked back to Rome, complete with the gratuitous use of Latin. Until relatively recently it was common practice for C of E Bishops to sign their names in official use in Latin e.g. Peter Bath: et Well for the Bishop Peter of Bath and Wells
