Warner Music Group never splits with Warner Bros

As we all know, in 2004 Warner Bros’s record division splitted with the film studio when Time Warner split it’s music business off. Warner Music Group ended up being bought by Access Industries in 2011. Today Warner Bros still operates a record division called “Watertower Music” but all they do is release soundtrack from Warner Bros films. But what if the split never happened? How would this affect the culture in the film studio as a whole? Would Time Warner split it’s cable operations in 2009 as well as Time Inc? How would this change music? Would Warner Bros buy part of EMI’s assets (including Parlophone) when EMI breaks up?
