War of the Austrian Succession after decisive British victory in the WoJE?

If the British had avoided disease and dominated the first year or so of the War of Jenkin's Ear, what is likely to happen when the War of Austrian Succession absorbs that conflict?

Is the European war likely to change drastically or will the outcome be mostly similar (with the exception of the North American theater)?

I need some experts.

Whilst not an expert my thoughts would be:

Firstly France is more likely to join Spain against the British earier if Spain was loosing territory to the Brits.

Secondly I think it would lead to a stronger British presence in the Americas, so more troops to call on in 1776, could the Americans cope with another British army coming from the Caribean / Central America.

Two possibilities come to mind:
1) Paradoxically, it may induce Britain to focus more overseas and thusly reduce it continental commitment. Since France actually won the land war OTL (though not even remotely as much as she would have wanted to) this may cause a stronger France on the continent.
2) OTOH, in 1740 Fleury was concerned more with helping Spaing than destroying Austria before Frederick invaded Silesia, so France may choose to focus overseas earlier as well. That coul even butterfly away the entire war as a great European conflit: Bavaria and Saxony won't dare to press for their claims without a serious French support. Moreover, Spain in this scenario has bigger fishes to fry than go for the claims in Italy, especially if French support is even more half-hearted than OTL. It could be end as a long Austro-Prussian war, where likely Frederick would gather some impressive tactical victories before bowing down to superior numbers and Maria's stubborness.
