What if the Kambarta Project had led to war between Uzbekistan and its neighbors in 2012? How would such a war go? What would be the effects? How would the war be caused? What if?
I assume the Russians would put a gun to the Uzbeks' heads to keep this from getting that bad. And given our reliance on supply routes through these countries for Afghanistan, we'd also insist on sorting this out quickly.

A large war is politically dubious, and would involve Russo/American intervention, as TRH said.
In smaller engagements, Uzbekistan would win by virtue of being the one-eyed person in the land of the blind, assuming (which is questionable) no outside intervention.
