War between Britain and France before WW1, what does Britain take?

If Britain and France fought a war during the dawn of the 20th century, what territories would interest them as reparations?

I think that rather depends on the cause of the war. A fight at some border point of the two empires is likely to result in redrawing of that particular border, for example.

Yup, what theater did this war take place in?

The Royal Navy should have superiority over the next two top navies combined, I guess the French lost?

A few more details please!

Presuming it starts over something colonial, something Fashoda-esque. And assuming the naval war is dominated by the Royal Navy, but perhaps not completely one sided and could be drawn out as the RN learns a few lessons in the process.

A few colonies and coaling stations will change over, most likely in Africa or the Far East. And any commercial concessions as well. The question of ongoing spheres of influence will dominate - it depends if Britain brings in any allies to help fight if she has to "share out the spoils".

North America and the Caribbean would be unlikely to see much change - it depends on the wider US position and relationships leading up to and during this war.

Madagascar, French Guiana, maybe Indochina and the Chinese concessions. I don't see them likely going after much else without a larger conflict, and then Corsica, Kerguelen, and maybe a few African ports. Otherwise I just don't see the French possesions of 1900 going to Britain so much as her allies.
