Ok, so with the recent epic fail of the US supreme court to trash obamacare, what should we the people do to fix things here in the good old USA?

I seriously think that our federal government has become so corrupted as to be completely out of touch with the majority of the people.

Should we be talking about disolving the FED entirely? Or just the three branches that are making all these mistaken 'laws'?

For instance, both the 'ObamaCare' and the previous 'Click-it-or-Ticket' are bits of subversive trash instigated by greedy members of the "Insurance" racket in the US, so perhaps as a potrion of the initial punishment, we the people could simply sieze all the assets of the insurance industry in this country.

I mean, if their profit margin is so all fired important that politicians are taking orders from corporations rather than we the people, then let us simply remove owernership from the rich & corrupt. Then they will not have to lobby our public servants into makling such mistakes in the future, as we will own everything they used to own!:D

I am not a fan of corporations making laws in my country, nor of my rights being rewritten to support bigger profit margins for them.

Congress, the President, and now the Supreme court have all failed the people on this issue, and so something must be done. If the correction can be done with votes (rather than with bullets), all the better. If not, then I think we will be seeing some grim times in the USA.

So I ask the forum community, what should we, the people of the United States of America, do to make our government do as we say?

Ok, first, this is the wrong forum, Shadow Master, but read the scene from Billy Madison where the principal talks to Adam Sandler after his answer for my response.

Thank you.

Well, Obamacare - which as all right-thinking patriotic Americans know is the system by which those most impacted by the 1983 'Able-Archer' disaster will be succored - is a train wreck waiting to happen.

Now, don't get me wrong, Able Archer was a catastrope, and losing Buffalo, Manchester, Fresno and Austin sucked unbelievably. And I have nothing hut sympathy for those affected. But we have to look at the positive. Our beloved America was hurt - but the USSR was destroyed! The greatest threat to humanity since Genghis Khan was wiped out.

I mean, come one, no one actually BELIEVES that the USSR would just - fall apart - on its own, right? It was a friggin' SUPERPOWER people. As the OP said - wake up!

So now Interior Secratary Barack Obama has proposed ObamaCare - a tax on those not impacted by Able Archer to provide 'relief' to the residents of the four cities. I mean, I don't like containing former Americans any more than anyone else, but these - people - aren't human any more. Diseases, mutation, total anarchy in the Exclusion Zones. Do we really want to open the gates to these - former people? I think not, and all patriotic Americans should agree with me.

This response is epic win and needs it's own Thread!

This isn't an alternate history question, it's off-topic and political, with such a healthy serving of bias to qualify as flamebait. Don't post your political fantasies outside of Chat again.

Also you said "epic fail", and that annoys the hell out of me.
