Wahhabism takes over Ottoman Empire

Ottomans and Wahhabist even had a war in 19th Century. What if Wahhabis successfully gain influence in the Ottoman Caliphate and making the Sultans support that particular interpretation with a pod starting in the 18th Century ? Could Wahhabism even spread outside the Arabian Peninsula ? What would be the consequences ? Ottoman Empire had a large Christian population and Sufi, Yazidis and Shias, Druze, Jews etc lived also there.

I'm guessing that the Ottoman Empire was too diverse for something as doctrinaire as Wahhabism to seem like a practical ruling ideology. Expect nonstop rebellion and Western meddling.

Ottoman Empire was too diverged, large and strong that one small puritan sect could get power. Was that even their purpose?

Wahhabism was conceived literally as an opposition to the Ottoman Caliphs. There would be no reason for the Sultans to adopt it.

Why? Wahhabis believed the Ottomans to be a bunch of heretics and attempted to conquer Hejaz to show everyone else that this was the case.

They'd never cooperate with the Ottomans.
