Why are these all Draka ones ? I have no interest in the Draka and have never read any of these...

Because that is what got nominated by the members of the board.

Well, I guess that makes sense, LOL

But I'm wondering were these the only nominations because no one actually wrote one that would fit in this category based on anybody else's published work ? Or did people either quickly forget these, or not like them as much as Draka ones ?

That is an interesting question. I had expected something based on Peshawar Lancers, for example, or on Tarrantry (there is quite a lot of Tarrantry fan fiction in the AH Directory of this site, for example), but evidently the members of this board prefer Draka.

Has anyone actually posted anything on this board that is derived from the Peshawar Lancers, et al, besides the map someone did in the Movies & Books forum of the Peshawar world?

Well, why didn't you nominate something else? Or read the posted TLs? Mine, at any rate is not really Draka per se, and is more friendly. :D

Well, a good question, the answer being that I didn't know of any of timelines based on published fiction, and may well not have read any had I done so !

As for your timeline, sorry ! I'm a little bit snowed under at the moment trying to get my head around Neo-Guelphism !

Best Regards

There's a Neo-Guelphism?

1840s political creed aiming at a federation of monarchical states in Italy, with Catholicism a big player. Was supported especially by Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies and the Pope.

Needless to say, Piedmont-Sardinia rather buggered it up
