So I don't know what the interest will be like for this but over in the American Politics thread we were discussing alternate state flags because so many of the current ones are so terrible. We were able to find 5 projects that have created flags for all 50 States. I want to know what AH.com thinks of these attempts. If the projects use the same flag as OTL I am not going to include it so there may not always be six options.

Alaska has one of the good ones. Let's keep the OTL one (but the stars can be white. They look better that way).

Yeah I can't take United We Brand's flags seriously. Too modern and emblematic. Reminds me of something we'll see on Big Boss's PMC patches more than anything.

But I agree, Alaska's is one of the great flags. Maybe not in my top 5 worldwide, but it's up there.

Is the Imgur album from Reddit? Can you link to the original thread or wherever they are? I'd like to add them to the Vex. Wiki and would like to know the creators' usernames.

That flag of Mowque's isn't bad... I miss that old peacenick sometimes.

I could add more projects... I just chose these because I was looking at them. I left the polls open ended because I'm doing this out of curiosity rather than as a game considering the flags were for the most part not created by members. If y'all prefer to make it a contest though I will oblige.

Thanks. Yes, the Reddit link is just a discussion about the album on Imgur. I've gone and added the files to the wiki. I say this only because interestingly, a lot of flags by the same person were already there: he also did a series for the Canadian provinces. For them, the theme was a common shape based on Canada's flag, rather than a common color scheme. This is the gallery (scroll down).
