So I took a break for a week there in the midst of a medical crisis (The word came back the other day though that I don't have cancer so that's great.) and missed the latest trend. First things first: The Red, Lord Roem, Meadow, Mumby, Agent Boot, Suleiman, Thande, Daltonia, Comisario and anyone else I might have missed: Thank You all, these have been fantastic. There are too many for me to even comment on them all, I'm sure I've missed quite a few at that.

Its obvious I think at this point to those of you who like what I write that I have a rather hard time following though with projects. There's a reason why the only things I've ever finished on this site have been TLIAD's, and why I often can't even finish those. I get myself too often bogged down in a work, reading too much on the subject after I've started, getting myself lost in the planning and research, inevitably burning myself out with very little to show for it literary wise or scraping the whole thing because I've found a better POD/Better Divergence/Better Whatever. I'm sorry, and its annoying. But over the past few days as I've been waiting for lab results and trying to distract myself, I've gone over a lot of my old notes, a decades worth from before I was even a member of this site and back when othertimelines.com was in operation.

It thus occurs to me that I might have a good deal of fun going over some of the old stuff, and writing short one-shots on them. And being as so many of them are based on some rather big cliches, I figure I might as well bundle them up and post them together. None of the stuff that will come up here over the next few days is related. Everything is a different timeline. But they're all, ever so roughly tied to that clash that saw the greatest and worst of mankind, the Second World War. If folks like this, I'll probably try a few other collections.

As always, thoughts, comments and criticisms will be welcome and sought after. And the first one will be up shortly,

-Japhy.
