For some reason, I'm in the mood for dystopias today. How plausible is this old one of mine from soc.history.what-if (and yes, maybe the "mirror image" idea is a little too obvious...)?

Let's say victorious Germany overthrows the Bolsheviks and establishes a puppet regime in Moscow. Eventually this regime chafes under the restrictions of Brest-Litovsk, or is overthrown by an even more right-wing regime that does (but at first the new regime utters soothing words to the Germans that it will honor Brest-Litovsk, and besides "if you Germans overthrow us, those terrible Socialists might come to power again, and that wouldn't be a good influence on German workers, would it?")

Secretly Russia and France begin to violate the agreements limiting their arms. At first Germany tries to reply with punitive expeditions into Russia and France, but eventually gets weary of it, especially after the Depression of the 1930s hits, and starts trying to appease France and Russia. Eventually, right-wing regimes in France and Russia, backed by the UK, undertake a war of revenge against Germany (Ukraine, despite its suspicion of Russian nationalism, goes along, partly because it is promised new territory in Galicia, etc., partly because it shares the Russian regime's anti-semitism. ) In the course of the war, Russia and Ukraine announce that Jews--both in Russia and Ukraine and in any territories they capture, such as Poland--are to be deported to Siberia because of their "pro-German sympathies." The British are not pleased by this, but the Russians assure them that the Jews will be treated well. It later turns out that due to "unfortunate outbreaks of epidemics" in the Siberian camps, not many survived...
