Victorious WWI Germany postwar dystopia idea

It probably will, eventually. But it might be useful to have it as an ally, first, until Germany's power is broken.
But wouldn't the Ukraine basically have a pro- German crony government? I mean the areas with a strong Ukrainian identity (outside of Kiev) i.e. East Galizia would be parts of Austria- Hungary, not the Ukraine. I really can't imagine the Ukraine have anything else than a weak government leaning heavily on German support.

This is why its government is overthrown by Russophile Ukranians early on.

So, why would Ukraine trust Russia--let alone ally with it?

The desire to get Ukrainian territory from German-dominated Poland (and maybe Carpatho-Rus from German-aligned Hungary) outweighs fears of future Russian aggression. (That may seem unrealistically shortsighted but think of Poland in OTL using Munich as an opportunity to get Teschen from Czechoslovakia.)

You don't think that Austria-Hungary would have still imploded after the end of World War I in this TL?

The thing is, though, that Czechoslovakia was doomed regardless of what Poland did. Thus, Poland decided to make the best of this moment.

In contrast, Mitteleuropa certainly isn't doomed unless Ukraine stabs it in the back--and even then it's certainly not a guarantee.

Also, if Austria-Hungary somehow manages to survive until the 1930s in this TL, and if Ukraine is at risk of stabbing Germany in the back, I could certainly see Germany bullying Austria-Hungary to transfer all Ukrainian-majority territories under its control to Ukraine. After all, it's better to give these territories to Ukraine than to have Ukraine stab you in the back.
