white eagle by itself might not look distinctive enough on the flag. Maybe at least have the king's cypher on his breast.

True. I doubt that Prince Henry would choose a more imperial eagle than that of his father and forefathers...even as King.

Actually that's the Prussian Eagle (however as a member of that branch he could use that too); the quatered sable and argent is the common coat of arms of the (entire) Hohenzollern dynasty (so both the Franconian and Swabian branch).
