Veritas: A New America

Dear Father,

I have decided to stay here in the US and finish my degree at Harvard. I really liked the campus, and I think it'll be a great place to raise Alex. Stanley wishes to go for his Doctorate in Environmental Policy (well, politics, but he's going to focus on the Environment.) He wants to be a professor, and I couldn't be happier with his decision. I get to stay at home, look after the kids, cook and clean, and write. With affection, I remain,

Your Daughter

Mother,

I am quite unsure of how to vote this election. Gore represents more of the same, but less competent. Bush? What else can I say? I've lived under his brother for two years, and I don't want the bargain bin option. Please advise. In other news, Samantha and I are doing quite well. I am enjoying teaching History here in Miami, it's quite nice except during the summers, which we are fortunate to spend with you in Maine. The kids are settling into this new school year well, but they do miss you and look forward to Thanksgiving. I have also been approached to run for the State Senate in 2002. I am strongly considering it, and we will discuss at Thanksgiving, I am sure. With love, I remain,

Your Son,
A.
