Venezuelan War 2013?

(warning the POD is very recent -Dec 28/Jan 11, days before I write this-)

It is widely believed that, if the death of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez hadn't leaked on january 11 2013, the war that came after wouldn't have happened, or wouldn't have been so devastating.

In January 10th, the new period of the Chavez regime started, however, what the people didn't knew was that he died of a respiratory affection, combined with cancer around December 28, without their main leader, there were three main contendants for the power, vice-president Nicolas Maduro, Parliament president Diosdado Cabello, and Barinas governor, and the president's brother Adan Chavez, a triumvirate was established by the three of them to avoid the regime to crumble.

in January 14 there was a major march by the Venezuelan MUD (Mesa de Unidad Democratica, Democratic Union Table) however, the Bolivarian Civilian Militias were on Caracas, it was the beggining of the end for the triumvirate and ALBA.

the January 14 massacre was followed by similar acts all over the country, Colombians in Venezuela described the events as a Nationwide version of the 1948 Bogotazo in Colombia, which kickstarted the Colombian armed conflict that was coming to an end in 2013

By March, opposition leaders were in the exile, or dead, and Parliament President Diosdado Cabello secretly ordered a purge of the party. Adan Chavez was killed, and the power of the De-Facto president Maduro, was eroded, but the followers of Maduro were not quiet, and attempted to remove him from the power, soon, the Chavistas were divided between Maduro and Cabello. and a Civil war had begun
