Valkyrie - a question

What if Valkyrie (the 1944 attempt on Hitler's life) had been a total failure? In real life, Hitler was lucky to escape with his life and the plot went off in a half-cocked fashion. What if Stauffenberg had somehow failed to reach the Fuhrer's HQ, and the attempt hadn't been made at all? How would that have affected the course of the war?

Well, if V.S. had been in a car or plane accident and is prevented from reaching the Wolf's Lair, unless they find the explosives on him, there might not be awareness enough to launch the purges that followed the failure of Valkyrie OTL.

Guderian's book said after Valkyrie, Hitler was even more deranged than usual, so a saner Hitler might have an effect on Germany's military strategies in the late stages of the war.

Well if Stauffenberg is unable to plant the bomb then nothing happens, the plotters will probably try again but unless they manage to come up with a better plan for seizing control of the state after Hitler's death then it's still going to end in failure.
