V TV Series (2009): Earth Under Visitor Occupation

Did you watch the remade V series that aired from 2009-2011? The one with Anna as the leader of the alien Visitors, whose ships arrived like Independence Day?

The series ended all too quickly after only 2 seasons, on a cliffhanger (Anna's daughter using Bliss on the entire population of Earth, whilst an underground military resistance was starting to get set up at the end, and the entire V fleet revealed over Earth).

How would the world have continued under Visitor occupation from then on? If there had been a third season (and so on), what would the story be like?

The whole thing sucked more than average vampire on True Blood. Visitors had surveillance on whole ship yet none where their eggs (or whatever) were stored? When somebody wants to join the resistance the first thing resistors did was introduce them to everybody else.

And oh so many other idiotic moves both sides make, the only reason these moves didn't end in disaster is that they were cancelled by idiotic moves other side made.

Yes, there were reasons why it was cancelled after two seasons...

Wasn't the implication that they were ready to nuke the ships in case of a full scale invasion? I remember one of the NSA guys saying something along the lines of "This bunker was designed to survive a spaceship falling on top of it".

Because it makes perfect sense to build secret command bunker under New York. I mean, it's not as if anybody will notice things related to it or that New York would be targeted in any war.

And of course they'd know that the bunker would be able to handle a V spacecraft crashing into it...:rolleyes:


How do you go about testing something like that?
