USSR if Germany Wins WWI

And it's interesting that you've no appreciation of just why the Central Powers "negotiated" a peace with Boshie Russia. Peace on the eastern front allowed the CP to shift troops to the western front and try to win the war.

Brest-Litovsk was a peace of CP convenience only. The CP essentially dictated the terms and, when the Bolshies got uppity, was more than willing to start up the war again until the Bolshies crawled back to the "negotiations". Any accommodation with the Bolsheviks was going to be temporary while the CP dealt with more pressing issues like the UK, France, Italy, and the USA.

A Germany which wins WW1 is going to eventually deal with a USSR or whatever Russian state the Bolsheviks able to fashion because such a state is a threat to German satellites in Eastern Europe. And, unlike the OTL Entente powers which fought the Bolsheviks, a victorious Germany isn't going to be too squeamish to finish the job.

I don't buy this. Do you really think a White Russia would just smile and forget about Ukraine (or the other lost areas)?

Of course not.

Any post-war Russian government is going to be a threat to the new German satellites carved out of the old Tsarist empire. A communist Russian government can simply be cast as the boogeyman more easily.

Whites, Reds, Purples, Marxist, or Marx Brothers, Germany is going to be keeping a flinty eye on Russia no matter who is in charge.

The Germans would have joined Britain, America, and others in sending troops to Russia to put down the Bolshevik uprising and would eventually reestablish the Czarist regime with a favorable monarch and its ally. Eastern Europe would have been increasingly annexed into the German Empire. Russia becomes a weakened state militarily and probably never really recovers from it. The plight of the Great Depression would ensure this. World War II never occurs because there is not as much stability in Europe and less interest from the US to prevent Japan's encapsulation of China because of no invasion of French Indochina. Global war is prevented with a much smaller war between American and Japan occurring because of a regional dispute.

This just makes the World War II equivalent all the more bloody and savage as Eastern Europe decides it doesn't like being a set of German colonies. Should Germany win that is the fate of everything between Bucharest, St Petersburg, and Kharkov. This might extend into Central Europe depending on how far or fast Austria-Hungary falls apart with Czechoslovakia likely becoming German too.
