US with peak WW2 involvement how many troops could they muster?

1) Farms in North America were not yet completely mechanized. Shifting some minor amount of vehicle/engine production from war machines to tractors to mechanize the rest of the farms would free up labour (more farmer's sons available for the military), and increase food production (farmers no longer have to devote part of their farms to oats and alfalfa to feed their horses)

US Army limited itself to 89 divisions. 2 were black. If blacks were allowed to serve in proportion to their population, it would be 9 divisions.
