US joins the Korean War late?

IOTL Truman didn't wait for congressional approval to join the war, if he waits around a week or so to get it does it impact the war in any noticeable way?

Not really.

By then, the North Korean offensive had been slowed down and US supplies were flowing into the Pusan Perimeter. If the US joined the war a week late, it might lead to more casualties on both sides, but I don't see the North Koreans suddenly crushing the South Koreans when the North Koreans were at the end of their supply lines (reasons why they were thrown back into North Korea so quickly).
