Upper Peninsula War?

Well, I was checking out Wikipedia, and look what I found:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ned_Scott/Upper_Peninsula_War

Interesting, no? :D

Anyways, what effects do you think such a conflict would have had on relations between the USA and Canada/Britain? Would this have effected American entry into World War One... probably not, given the outcome.

Well, mostly this is just posted since it's so thoroughly done. It's interesting, to see that someone put so much effort into an AH wiki article...

Anyways, it's affecting Michigan, a region many AH.com members hold dear, so that's another reason to include it. :D

Only issue I have with that article is that the majority of the Upper Peninsula's mineral deposits were in legit US territory, from Marquette westwards, which even to the "Lartique Map" would say is US terrtory.

Why the hell would the Toledo confrontation be mentioned in my history of MI. book, but not a freakin' succesh movement and war with Canada? A govenour EXECUTED for TREASON!!! Thats awesome. One more reason why Detroit is sincerely bad ass... No really, we need all the reasons we can get right now...

Dude, it's a faked-up article. Detroit just lost badassness points again, I'm afraid.

Hell, you guys went to war the one time over Toledo, of all places.

As has been mentioned before, and will once more be mentioned now, the Toledo strip is integrally Michiganian territory. The ILLEGAL occupation of the territory in question by the forces of OHIOAN IMPERIALISM might mean that they can administer the contested region, but by no means does it imply that their claims are legitimate. MICHIGAN WILL RISE AGAIN.:mad::mad:
