Upcoming Alternate Timeline: "JLA: Gods & Monsters"

I'm surprised that no one has brought this one up yet:

According to the source article, Superman is the son of General Zod, while Batman is Kirk Langstrom, who inadvertently turned himself into a sort of vampire while attempting to cure his own cancer. As to Wonder Woman, she "seems to be of the 'New Gods,'" the site reported. "She marries Orion but something goes wrong there and she comes to Earth." Darkseid also features heavily in the series, as does a knowledge-seeking Lex Luthor modeled on Stephen Hawking.

Sounds amazing.

I like what they did with Superman and Lex Luthor. The rest feels a little too derivative of older "Elseworlds" but I'd definitely be willing to watch it. Would be interesting if they did more stories set in the ATL...

Just watched the latest trailer for JLA: Gods & Monsters and it is rated "PG-13". As such here is the link:

The scary thing is that Michael C. Hall, a.k.a. Dexter plays Batman in the ATL. The video is described as,"Journey to a divergent reality where the Justice League protects the planet — but answers to no one but themselves. Employing methods of intimidation and fear, this Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman deal brute force in the name of justice. In this alternate universe, Superman was not raised by the Kents in Smallville, the Caped Crusader is not Bruce Wayne, and Wonder Woman is not an Amazon warrior of Themyscira. When a group of famed scientists experience untimely “accidents,” a government task force follows the trail of clues to the Justice League -- but is there a more powerful player operating from the shadows? It’s a high stakes game of intrigue, mystery and action that asks the question: How do you serve justice to those above the law?"
