United Scandinavia in Great Northern War?

Is there any way to reasonably unite Scandinavia through the Great Northern War under the house of Oldenburg?

I know this could be ASB (or not), which is why I am asking the more educated members for their expertise.

I doubt it, since the whole point of the war was the desire of the Russians to check the power of Sweden. I don't see why the Russians would empower the Oldenburgs like that.

I had assumed so. I was planning (in my mind) on having Russia defeated by Sweden but eventually defeated by Denmark and Prussia, with the death of Karl. I had also, in my thoughts, married Hedvig of Sweden and Fredrik IV of Denmark. Prussia in this case would gain quite a bit of land.

Is there any chance of Scandinavian unification under Karl XI of Sweden?

My other question is if there were any other PODS that would unify Scandinavia before the Seven Years War. Barring that, unification before the time of the OTL Napoleonic Wars.

Thank you, Thespitron. However, it is a century too early for what I was planning. Thank you for your input-I'll probably just come up with a second "phase" of a Great Northern War similar to the Napoleonic War/Thirty Years War.

Thank you once again.
