Union of Bohemia-Hungary-Poland and Lithuania

What would happen if the Bohemia, Hungary, Poland and Lithuania were united under the rule of a one king? My version is this: Sigismund I the Old die before adulthood (or at all not born). In this situation, after the death of the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, Alexander I in the year 1506, thrones of these countries inherits the last of his brothers, Ladislaus, King of Bohemia and Hungary. How can such a union would change the history of Central Europe?

In your context, the Union would start as anti-Ottoman, i guess. Its success in an alt-Mohacs would determine a lot. Also, with utraquist Bohemia on board, there are better chances of no counterreformation or maybe the whole thing turning Protestant.

IIRC both Ladislaus and his son Louis were generally weak and not very competent. To keep 4 kingdoms together and face the juggernaut that was the Ottoman Empire you need strong, energetic king. IMO it would most probably end with collapse of the Quadruple Union (BHPL) and possible split between all 4 states, possibly with Polish-Lithuanian union surviving. The powerful state with weak ruler is not powerful at all.
Could Mochacs had been a victory for Hungary? Theoretically it was possible. Let's say Zapolya received orders earlier and joint Louis' forces in time, together with strong Polish-Lithuanian reinforcements. With some luck Christian army might even kill Suleiman (I think he was wounded or close to it). But would it have been enough to cause panic among the Ottomans? I have my doubts, but I do not know so much about the battle.

As the poster above said the Bohemian-Hungarians Jagiellons weren't good rulers (though Louis is debatable), also all his realm had a strong nobiliar class (Vladislav had basically no authority in Bohemia, Hungary only worked on concensus) and they were all (save IIRC Lithuania) elective monarchies, which put an extra burden. Victory at Mohács is irrelevant, at the time the Ottomans were too strong and the Hungarians too weak.
