To add to that, it's only become an important (see: influence/power) in the 20th century, having been before that a small state that was'nt conquered earlier simply because no one was interested in the area.

Time traveling Ethopians from the future AAIEEEEEE

Did not Ethiopia/Axum control Yemen at one time in late antiquity? That could warrant its having a color. And it might be more important for AH purposes, where "Uber Ethiopia" comes into play fairly often.

The Kingdom of Aksum had a small bit of land on the Red Sea coast of Arabia, yes, but I disagree with the whole counting Aksum as Ethiopia thing.

I always though Bulgaria needed a color. It looks like an ugly blob on CP Victory maps. For some reason, the Serbia/Yugoslavia and Bohemia/Czechia/Czechoslovakia colors are used very inconsistently, often just being white. Same with Pakistan and Southeast Asian colors.

I think it is because a) they're missing on may UCS maps, and I know it can be easier to find a UCS map than a UCS key at times and b) at least Serbia/Yugoslavia and Bohemia/Czechia/Czechoslovakia generally don't have areas isolated from the main body or satellites.
