UK Automotive WI - No or Ineffective Coventry and Birmingham Blitz

In OTL both the Coventry and Birmingham Blitz would have a negative impact on the likes of BSA (who did not restart production of BSA cars), Singer and Alvis via the British shadow factory scheme.

What if the UK motor industry's factories managed to completely or mostly avoid destruction during the ATL Coventry and Birmingham Blitz?

Didn't the midlands car industry bounce back pretty well OTL anyway?

I would say the 50's and 60's brain drain to the US was much more of an issue than the Blitz. As well as the ending of Sterling Zone and opening up of the erstwhile Empire to foreign competition.

Pretty much the case for Austin, Morris, Standard and Rootes though the likes of BSA (causing BSA to discontinue the BSA Cars marque post-war to instead focus on BSA Bikes as well as low-volume Lanchester and Daimler marques), Singer and Alvis were negatively impacted by the Blitz.
