U.N. Secretary General Franklin D. Roosevelt. How would he do it?

Lets ignore FDR's bad health for a minute, and lets say he lives out 4 terms and long enough to become a Secretary-General (in say 1950?) what would his term be like? How would this impact the development of the U.N.? OR would the whole thing be torpedoed by the U.S.S.R. before it got off the ground?

He doesn't necessarily need to live out his fourth term. According to his biographer H. W. Brands, FDR was thinking about resigning from the Presidency as soon as the war was over in order to take up the mantle at the UN.
