Two Unrelated Questions: Taifas and Aragonese Greece

I've had a couple of questions about pre-1900 history rattling around in my brain all day, and they've been driving me bonkers.

Is it possible for one of the taifa petty states (let's say Seville) to reunite al-Andalus during the First Taifa Period, without the help of the Almoravids? If so, how long could a reunited Andalusi state stand in the way of the Christian Reconquista? If it can, what are the consequences?

Secondly, how long is it possible for the Crown of Aragon to hold onto the duchies of Neopatria and Athens? Would there be many noticeable effects of Iberian culture upon Greek customs and language after a long enough period of Aragonese rule?

Yes, I realize that both of these questions are wholly unrelated, and I don't particularly care. :D

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's unlikely that the Greeks will happily accept Catholic masters for long, especially with there still being a bit of life left in Byzantium, plus the rise of Serbia as a major Orthodox power in the fourteenth century.

The Abbadid dynasty of Seville is a Taifas kingdom with some decent chances at sort of reunifying Andalus, though probably Zaragoza will be less than firmly controlled. That will have significant butterflies on Reconquista. Depending on when the unification is obtained, it may delay or accelerate it. Also, Maghrib would be experiencing changes that will affect Andalus in many important ways. A Almohad invasion is a possibility, and may give the Christians chances at land-grabs in the north.
In any case, the Andalusian culture as we know it (Averroes, Ibn Bajja, Ibn Tufayl) will be very different.

What about after the fall of Byzantium and Serbia?
