As we all know, the People's Republic of China defeated the Republic of China in the Chinese Civil War, paving the way for a Communist giant in the Pacific, and changing Asian history forever as it will now undoubtedly become a second superpower (whether that is a good thing or bad thing depends on you.)

However, what if more Communists and their leaders were killed in WW2? What if when the Chinese Civil War occurred, the Republic of China managed to hold on to more territories, but ultimately had to cede most of Northern and Northeast China to the PRC? What if China was split into two equally sized countries and 2 smaller breakaway states (Tibet and Uyghuristan) and possible a larger Mongolia?

If all that sounded confusing, here's the summary:
Have Tibet, Uyghuristan, and Mongolia be free from China, but have the Nationalists maintain control of parts of Mainland China. The PRC SHOULD have at least 20% of otl China territory
