The game Twilight Struggle is considered one of the best board games of all time. It is built around replicating the global struggle between the USA and the USSR during the Cold War.
The game is based around the idea of placing influence down in various countries, swaying them to your side. The more countries you have under your influence, the more points you get. Placing infleunce is done via cards, most of which are based on historical events.
The game is really good but I was wondering....could it be adapted to an Alternate History setting? Perhaps a Confederate victory TL? The areas of influence could be the border states, Mexico/Central America and the Caribbean? The cards would be based off fictional historical events of course, but the same idea would hold.
Would anyone be interested in messing around with this? I assume if we never sell it or even really make or anything, it wouldn't be a copyright issue?
