TVWI: Second Honeymoon (1979) got picked up

Second Honeymoon is a 1979 unsold pilot hosted by Jim McKrell, announced by John Harlan, produced by Nicholson-Muir Productions, Inc. in association with Metromedia and it was taped in 1979.

Metromedia, however had the condition to pick up the show on Metromedia stations, as well as then-future FOX independent stations, such as KTVU-TV.

Second Honeymoon was due to premiere on September 8, 1980, as Jim McKrell's fourth game show series, following Quiz Kids (1978).

The show was ranked #12 at syndicated game shows, but Metromedia cancelled the show in 1981 due to the then-popularity of Family Feud, and replacing the show on most stations with Super Pay Cards!, another Nicholson-Muir production that Metromedia distributed.
