Double Up (not to be confused with the short-lived 1992 NBC Saturday morning kids dating game show of the same name) was an unsold game show pilot where contestants "fill-in-the-blanks" for big bucks and answer questions to "Double Up" their score. It was produced by Dick Clark Productions, hosted by Jamie Farr and distributed by MCA TV.
MCA TV approached WWOR-TV to pick up the show, setting up for a September 14, 1987 start date. Other stations got picked up including KOFY-TV (ITTL, IOTL Classic Concentration got picked up).
The show was cancelled quickly on May 1988, because of competition from the popular syndication hits Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!
