The 1975 version of Beat the Odds is an attempted revival hosted by Chuck Henry, announced by Johnny Jacobs, produced by Bill Carruthers and it was taped for ABC on January 10, 1975 and February 7, 1975.
ABC had the condition to pick it up to replace Blankety Blanks, but it succeeded over the return of repeats of The Brady Bunch. ABC let Beat the Odds to have a start date of June 30, 1975. However, ABC abruptly cancelled Beat the Odds on August 29, 1975, making the show one of the worst revivals of the 1970s. Happy Days reruns replaced Odds on September 1, 1975.
However, Beat the Odds managed to last nine months, making it on of the greatest game show flops of all time.
