Triune Republics of the Baltic

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia form a country united in defence against Poland and Russia. After Germany is taken over by the Socialists they form a federation with Finland, Kaiserine Prussia, and the Free City of Danzig.

Exactly what sort of industries are they suppose to develop between 1918 and 1939 that will allow them to remain economically and militarily independent from either Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union? Do they have the population base to repel Red Army attacks or Luftwaffe bombings?

Well, Finland managed it alone OTL...

I thought Finland was part of the Federation formed (along with Danzig and some sort of Kaiser Prussia)

Maybe the Baltic Countries follow Finland in an aliance? They have some cultural and economical ties of sort developping? Maybe an aliance with instead/also with scandinavian countries?

What exactly is this Kaiserine Prussia? There is East Prussia, but it is not ruled by the Hohenzollerns as Kings of Prussia or German Emperor, especially after 1918. I doubt the Poles would be too have with their only port city splitting off and joining another nation.

They don't have the capability to win a war with either the Union or the Reich. They are merely inconveniently large as a group instead of separated.

Gdynia was the Polish port city, and Poland would have been delighted to have Danzig go off and join another country instead of Germany.
Too bad Poland didn't join them. Poles were damned near a minority in their own country. With the Baltics and Prussia and Danzig they would definitely have been a minority.
But then, an Eastern European Federation from Ukranian Ukraine to Greece to Finland would have been too much to hope for. It could have beaten either Russia or Germany, and both if France had joined in. Pity.
