In 1806 the Spainish realizing they couldn't hold Florida against the encroacing US offered to sale it. The treaty eventually drawn up, gave the US -Florida,& all spainish claims north of the Red River-west to the divide-all claims north of the California border[IIRC 30o line] ie Oregon-Columbia. Spain got 20 millions dollars.
In 1807 The US Senate ratifified the Treaty, and approtiated the Money, Unfortunally the Spainish King took a personal dislike to the American Envoy, and refused to sign the Treaty when his Ministers presented it to Him. In 1820 the US took Florida Militarally, Paid Spain the 20 mill, and proceeded to act like the treaty had been signed as regrards Oregon.
So WI?
The Americans send some one else to Spain as Envoy. The King signs the Treaty. And on Jan. 1 1808- the US gains legal title to Florida & Oregon. The
US is Ocean to Ocean, some ~40 sooner than OTL.
?How do we Handle it?

Manifest Destiny happens a bit sooner maybe. The issue of slave state vs free state when they enter the Union is needed to be solved earlier.
Territoies bcome states earlier. The ACW may happen earlier with different
commanders or maybe some of the founders still around are forced to solve
the slavery issue rather than leave it to the next generation. War of 1812
doesn't happen? Madison not Lincoln is President of the US when the ACW is
fought.....The south wins?

Some of these "Founding Fathers" Would have been in the
"Anti-Federalist Papers" Camp. and they all would remember the
"Articles of Confederation" & the DoI. ?Whould there nessacary have
been a ACW?

1820's civil war

In 1820 the slaveholders didn't control the Mississippi basin, the free white settlers did. A civil war in 1820 would have been won by the free white settlers, who promptly would have forbidden importation of slaves. The slave owners in the eastern states would have run out of cotton growing land and the price of slaves would have fallen to the point that there would not have been a war. Not to mention that when the price of slaves is low enough, they can buy their freedom very easily just by promising to work hard for a year or two.
