At the our biggest shows were The Simpsons and Married with Children and whilst they were successful we really wanted to tap in the science fiction/action audience.
We started to look at licensing. We rejected Transformers and GI Joe as being too expensive plus Fox was still regarded as part-timers.
It was a bit grim to be honest. Then one day I was in my office flicking through channels and I saw an episode of a cartoon I vaguely remembered. It was called M.A.S.K.
