Queen Margaret of Anjou rightly held back from this epic battle. In this case, she decides to lead the troops and is captured, along with Prince Edward and King Henry VI. Now safely in the Tower of London, there is little hope of escape. Would this make Warwick's rebellion more difficult to pull off or even impossible?

She would almost certainly be ransomed and packed off to France as she was post Tewkesbury in OTL, as an anointed Queen and relative of the French Royal Family killing or imprisoning for life is of the table.

Prince Edward if would suffer a fatal accident at the same time as Henry VI, he is far too dangerous to be allowed to live though I can't imagine that Margaret would be insane enough to bring him to the battlefield and risk his capture. As for the future Edward IV would I suspect still fall out with Warwick and Clarence though in the absence of any living Lancastrians they would probably claim Edward IV's bastardy and try and crown Clarence. Lacking Lancastrian support it would probably go about as well has Buckingham's rebellion against Richard III.

Why would she lead the troops? She's not trained to fight, unlike Matilda of Canossa.
