To Butterfly a Nazi

Ok, so recently I've been thinking of doing a TL where OTL's first world war breaks out earlier and is a lot shorter which incidentally butterflies the Nazi's away and allows the Kaiser's government to go on functioning as it has.

I'm curious about the Kaiser's Germany post-war in this kind of TL anyone with any thoughts or facts that could chime in would be greatly appreciated.

What's the POD for this earlier war? And if Germany loses, I doubt that the Kaiser could last very long without reform of some kind.

I was thinking the Second Morocco Crisis as a start (First Morocco Crisis if earlier is required). It means that Russia is not nearly as prepared for war and it might not have the effect of pushing the entire Alliance system into action, or would at least keep England out of the war.

Germany must win ww1 to have the Kaiser still as "ruler". Or at least a kind of draw, a status quo ante bellum.

Then you want to start ww1 earlier. That could be in the Marocco crisis 1905/06 or 1911.

1905/06 Russia is exhausted from the war with Japan. Even Nicolai II. would not go for war because of Marocco. He had too many internal problems. However, in this scenario Great Britain, under Edward VII., will likely go for war with Germany. If you want to have a war. In any cases the outcome of such a war would be the conquest of France. Here Britain will get away with a white peace, but France has to give up some colonies. In no way however such a war would avoid another one. France, however, will have for some years enough. This war will be relative short.

1911, well, then you have problems with the peace movements in all countries (indeed the greatest demonstration until then happened in Berlin with 200.000 people). Here ww1 could start like OTL, but is not supported so well. That means after some early successes the Germans might accept some compenstions and that's it. Here, too, many questions would not be solved.

1904 would be another starting point. The Doggerbank incident leads to a war between Russia and Britain. France, who sees herself isolated otherwise, declares war on Britain as well. Germany will then declare war on France and Russia, as well as Austria-Hungary. Italy will stay neutral for some time but then start fighting for Germany. Sacro egoismo. Russia, already beaten by Japan, will soon collapse and France then, too.

Or the Fashoda crisis of 1898.

Thanks for the input, 1904 or 1905 do seem like the better occasions. I'm trying to keep the POD after 1900. In a quick war (say two three years) would the Kaiser be able to keep a firm grip on power until say 1920 before having to make any major liberalization concessions?
