TNO Collabrative TL

In the year 1962, a grim feeling has taken over the world. Ever since the tyrannys of Nazi Germany and the Japanese Empire won World War two, a Jack boot has layed across Europe, Africa and East Aisa with only the Americas remaing a bastion of Freedom, However the forces that marched to victory now choke on their victory. The German Economy has been in a continual state of economic collapse, bringing in the horrors of Slavery and forced to give the madman Himmler a state, where he conducts his own affairs. Japan now has difficulty maintaining their sphere as the nation's stare resentfully at their masters. Italy and the other nations of the triumvirate begin to plan to pick up the scraps after the disastrous Atlantropa project and now unrest combs the world. Russia in chaos and anarchy now begins to seek unification. Now

It is now january 1st and the world looks on in a mix of wonder and horror as the Nazis land the first man on the moon, suddenly at the Party for the victory in berlin, Gunshots break out, and the old fuhrer of the party, Adolf Hitler crumbles...

(I imagine there will be some deviation from canon? Whatever works, but this will be fun, I hope! Watch me screw this up somewhere.
This is my first shot at a collaborative TL, might not be the most active in it what with school starting and all but here goes nothing. I'll stick to some semblance of canonity at first and then diverge as everyone else does.)

January 15, 1962: The Hawaiian Missile Crisis is resolved peacefully between Japan and the United States. Vice-President John F. Kennedy gets most of the credit, much to the dismay of President Nixon.

January 18, 1962: The Greater German Reich announces its victory in the Space Race with a successful manned mission to the Moon.

January 19, 1962: During jubilant celebrations of the moon landing in the city of Germania, Adolf Hitler, master of Europe and undisputed leader of Germany since 1933, meets a sudden end at the hands of a foreign agent. Evidence both fabricated and found on the scene point to Japanese involvement in the attempt.

January 20, 1962: An emergency session of the Reichstag held the day after the death of Adolf Hitler deadlocks over the question of succession to the Fuhrer with the conservative Martin Bormann and the reformist Albert Speer having the most supporters in the Reichstag.

February 9, 1962; An emergency "Crisis Committee" (apologies to the TWR devs) is formed as the Reichstag deadlocks on who should succeed Hitler with neither Albert Speer nor Martin Bormann, despite being the main candidates for the post of Fuhrer in the Reichstag, securing a majority.

February 27, 1962:
The Malta Conference, involving the Turkish Republic, the Italian Empire, and the Iberian Union and the Triumvirate formed between them, convenes with the death of Adolf Hitler and the subsequent developments in Germany being a major topic of concern for the delegates.

February 28, 1962: In the aftermath of Hitler’s death, countless people in the OFN and Triumvirate celebrate the death of the man who has caused more pain and suffering than anyone else in human history. Allegedly, Richard Nixon also took part in this, raising a glass to the dictator’s death with his cabinet and saying, “Good riddance to the bastard.” to JFK. While the Reich doesn’t take too kindly to this, there is little they can do about it, as the government is too busy trying to stabilize the deteriorating political landscape of the country.

March 3, 1962: Japanese Prime Minister Ino Hiroya denies the attempt and offers joint investigation of Murder of Hitler.

March 4, 1962: Hermann Goering, to an excited crowd of Germans, denounces the offer of a joint investigation by the Japanese government as a "cover up", promising to said crowd that Japan would pay for "murdering the great Fuhrer". This speech boosts his faction of militarists and raises their popularity amongst the German people.

March 8, 1962: The Malta Conference between the three members of the Triumvirate continues. However, all three nations find great difficulty in coming to any kind of agreement between them.

March 15, 1962: Things become progressively worse as a secret meeting between Salazar, Franco and Türkeş is leaked, in which both nations with no competing claims agreed to oppose Italian claims.

March 4, 1962: Albert Speer accepts the offer, claiming that the Goering had no authority over this. It proves that there are internal power struggle within germany.

March 17, 1962: In Orenburg, Alexander Burba's faction of technocrats win a landslide victory in elections for the Workers' Council of Orenburg.

June 2, 1962: japan-German joint investigation revealed that hitler's assassination was a false flag attack by SS.

June 3, 1962: Due to a lack of understanding from Japan on the exact separation of the SS and German state, they assume it to be an internal matter that some German politician framed them for.

Meanwhile in Germany, most of Speer’s opposition refuse to believe the SS have that kind of pull, and assume Speer is attempting to frame Reinhard Heydrich. Though Heydrich’s support barely rises, Bormann and Goring continue to grow in popularity.

However, none of the three candidates secure an easy majority, with the Reichstag split three ways.

June 26, 1962: A seemingly unimportant murder case in Japan is investigated.

On the other side of the globe, a single White House aide anonymously leaks rumors of Nixon wiretapping his opposition in not only the NPP, but the democratic half of the R-D party.

March 17, 1962: The "Malta Bombing" occurs and while neither Ciano, Salazar, Franco, nor Turkes were hurt (with Ciano not even in the meeting which was targetted), the three powers making up the Triumvirate quickly start pointing fingers at each other over responsibility for the attack with the summit concluding the next morning

March 20, 1962: From Rome, Ciano gives a speech where he regrets the collapse of the Triumvirate but pledges Italy would remain strong even without the Triumvirate as the governments of Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Bulgaria, and Serbia reassure Rome their ties are as strong as ever even without the Triumvirate.

March 21, 1962: As a retaliation for the Malta Bombing, Galeazzo Ciano issues a declaration of war on the Turkish ambassador in Rome. Skirmishes are reported in the Levant, as well as the salty flatlands between the formed Dodecanese and mainland Turkey.

March 22, 1962: Bulgaria and Greece formally declare war on Turkey with Bulgaria and Greece invading Turkish Thrace (or as the Turks call it "Rumelia").

I'm thinking of Bulgaria and Greece invading Turkish Thrace to be a "mouse that roared" moment for both of these countries, especially for Greece, considering they're largely an Italian puppet/satelite ATM.

April 20, 1962: On what would have been Adolf Hitler's 73th birthday, Siegfried Muller, Wolfgang Schneck, and Hans Huttig sign the Afrika Schild alliance, owing to the political instability which had followed after the death of Adolf Hitler.
