TL: The Unforseen Century

After 9/11, the Prince of Darkness must step into the light, after President Bush is killed. The very ominous Cheney must work in the public eye now, but will he be up to the task? Will he be able to lead the nation effectively into the "Unforseen Century"?

"My fellow Americans, today's incident was nothing more than a tragedy. And now we know who is responsible for this attack. Osama bin Laden and his terrorist allies have committed an atrocity on our nation, and they will now face our wrath. The United States is the strongest, freest and most unified nation in the world, and our united wrath will be unstoppable. The eagle looks to what is right and what is just. "

Cheney: For Vice, we are gonna need someone strong, and experienced.
Rumsfeld: Why not me, Dick? *chuckling*
Cheney: You would never get passed in congress. Anyway, I was suggesting John Danforth

Rumsfeld: Ah, a respectable choice, Dick. He should pass pretty easy
Powell: I like that. Danforth was a great senator. His senatorial experience will help you with working with Senator Daschle

"My fellow Americans, the time for vengeance has begun. Earlier this morning, US forces and other nations joined as one front, and declared a "War Against Terror", and begun an invasion against the Taliban. We have made it clear that this nation and our allies shall not stand for terrorism in any form. Our fight is no where near over, but it shall be a fight won. The United States continues to fight terrorism abroad and domestic, which is why I have created the Department of Homeland Security. So what got Bush killed? Was he in the Trade Center at the time or was it from something like a heart attack after hearing the news?
